Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W911SA-04-T-0016 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is competed unrestricted under NAICS 333314 with the small business size standard of 500 employee s. This action is unrestricted. A fixed price contract is anticipated for two line items. Delivery will be to Fort McCoy, WI 54656 NLT 1 Apr 04. CLIN 0001, LASER RANGE FINDING BINOCULARS, QTY 30 EACH. Laser range finding binoculars, with speed detector, provides instant distance & speed measurements consistently and accurately. Optics allow a sharp and clear image under all conditions. Weight 1.3 kg. Battery type 9 volt. Accuracy plus and minus 1 yard. Low battery ind. Size 8.4” x 6” x 3.2”. NewCon model LRB 7X50SPD or equal. Offeror is to submit technical information displaying features of proposed equal for comparison to sugg ested product. CLIN 0002, LASER RANGE FINDING BINOCULARS, QTY 5 EACH. Laser range finder binoculars, military spec approved intended for ground surveillance, observation of individual targets and measurement of distance up to 20 km. FEATURES: Up to 20 k m distance, 1st or last target selection, Illumination for dark conditions, and Digital data output. Weight 2.5kg. Battery type 9 volt. Accuracy plus and minus 5m. Size 9: x 8.6” x 4.4”. NewCon model LRB20000 or equal. Offeror is to submit technical information displaying features of proposed equal for comparison to suggested product.
