Description
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), intend to purchase a Protein Chromatography System, manufactured by Amersham Biosciences, 800 Centennial Avenue, Piscataway, New Jersey 08854. The Amersham Biosciences brand named Protein Chromatography System specifications are as follows: 1) One (1) each, (S)AKTAFPLC-FRAC950 W/CONTROL UNIT, part number 13443101 with flow rates of 0.01 to 20 ml/min at pressures up to 5 MPa. The system must be compatible with an existing Pharmacia FPLC system model LCC 500 Plus. The system includes the following: system pump model number P-920; Mixer for precision gradient formation model number M-925, Injection Valve model number INV-907, UV/pH/conductivity monitor with fixed wavelength detection model number UPC-900, Waste valve model FV903, Fraction Collector for Collecting up 120 samples in 16 mm tubes and 8 samples in 30 mm tubes model number FRAC950, UNICORN software package, UNICORN Control EN 2.4 GHz system, EVO D510 EN 2.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 SFF, 533 MHz Front Side Bus Speed, 256 MB RAM (DDR), 20/512 KB L1/L2 cache, 40 GB SMART III Ultra ATA 7200 rpm hard drive, 3.5" 1.44 MB floppy drive, 40X/12X/40X CD-RW drive, Integrated Intel Pro/100 Network Interface Card, Microsoft Windows 2000 software and documentation, 15" and TFT LCD Flat Panel Display. 2) Two (2) each, PV-908 25 MPA, part number 18110841. 3) One (1) each, AD-900 Analogue/Digital Converter, part number 18114862. 4) One (1) each, Rack B 12 MM Frac-950 tubes, part number 18608312. 5) One (1) each, superloop 10 ML, part number 18111381. 6) One (1) each, 150 ML Superloop. 7) One (1) each, Akta user kit, part number 18115424. 8) Installation and all the necessary AKTA/UNICORN training. Responses to this notice must submit clear and convincing documentation indicating that the item proposed are the brand name items required. This requirement is under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number 339111, size standard 500 employees. There are no set aside restrictions for this requirement. Proposals are due fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis. Proposals must include an itemized price, freight charges, delivery time, prompt payment discount terms, NAICS code, Business size, DUNS number, literature and detailed specifications describing the product offered. Proposals will be evaluated on conformance to the government?s specifications, quality, price and delivery time. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which if timely received shall be considered by the agency.
