The proposed contract will be a 3-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDI Q) with an estimated guaranteed minimum quantity of 1000 each. Estimated issue date is 05 April 2004. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY04 requirement. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors, who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal, must signed the non-disclosure and non-use agreement which will be an attachment to the solicitation. Signed copies of the non-disclosure and non-use agreement must be compl eted and submitted to the fax number provided on the agreement before a TDP will be sent. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephon e Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet and the non-disclosure and non-use agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US requires the items procured to be m anufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Canada. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronicall y as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
