Description
NAICS Code: 81299 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Engineering Technical Support Center (ETSC) of the Office of Research and Development (ORD) is seeking to obtain student services, for one student only, under the authority of 43 US Code Section 5d. The student will assist in the daily operations of ETSC, and maintain logs and records. Work is expected to begin April 2004 and continue through March 2006. The student shall have successfully completed at least two (2) years of general college course work, and can demonstrate proficiency using the personal computer. The student must be familiar with Lotus or Microsoft software, including a spreadsheet (1,2,3 or Excel) or database software (Approach or Excel). The student must also be familiar with Microsoft Word or other word processing software, and must demonstrate the ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute. Compensation is commensurate with the level of education and experience. The anticipated hourly rate is $12.76 for 2 or more years of college. The student must be able to work 20 hours per week during school, and up to 40 hours per week during school breaks/vacations. This position is considered part-time during the school year (up to 25 hours per week), and up to 40 hours per week during the non-school months. This position shall not exceed 1,500 total hours per year. The student may schedule work hours Monday through Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The principle duty station is at the Andrew W. Briedenbach Environmental Research Center (AWBERC) Building in Cincinnati, OH.
