Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4600-04-T-0017 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-18. All applicable provision and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 484210, and the small business size standard is $18.5M. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase contract for the following: 1. Disassemble 22 work stations in the Base Library. 2. Move them within the Library to an alternate location. 3. Reassemble 22 work stations in the Base Library. The following are also applicable to this acquisition, DFAR 252.204-7003 Control of Government Personnel Work Product, DFAR 252.204-7004 Alt A (Nov 2003) Required Central Contracting Registration Alternate A, DFAR 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests, and DFAR 252.243-7001 Pricing of Contract Modifications. A site visit is scheduled for Friday, 26 March at 1:00 p.m. CST at the Library on Offutt AFB, NE. All quotations must be received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB 68113-2107 by March 31, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. CST. Quotes must be valid until 30 April 2004.
