Description

The contractor shall provide a Field Service Representative (FSR) at Fort Hood, Texas for a base period plus 4 option years. The FSR shall provide on-site proficiency training, technical guidance, and information pertinent to the evaluation of the o perational difficulties involving UH-60A/L aircraft, to include deployment to theatre. The FSR shall also endeavor to elevate the technical skill and abilities of the designated maintenance personnel of the Army responsible for the maintenance of the sys tem/equipment to a level where self-sufficiency is achieved. The North American Industry Classification System Code applicable to this acquisition is 541330. The small business size standard is $5 million. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this acquis ition will be solicited from a single source with Sikorsky Support Services, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615. Sikorsky is the manufacturer of the UH-60A/L aircraft and all information regarding the aircraft is proprietary to Sikorsky.
