Description

Sole Source Notice - Amendment 0001 was issued today, 29 March 2004 to include one additional new exhibit, totaling three new exhibits. Synopses: Solicitation No. W9128A-04-T-0011 is a Firm-Fixed Price Commercial Service contract to Design, Fabrica te And Install Three New Exhibits; Fiber Optic Capability Of Two Existing Exhibits & Enlarge Model Table Top Of One Existing Exhibit for the Pacific Regional Visitor Center (RVC), Fort DeRussy, Oahu, Hawaii. A Justification and Approval citing 10 U.S.C. 2 304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, has been approved. Interpretive Exhibits, Inc. (IE) is the proposed sole source contractor. The work under this contract will include all labor, mat erials, equipment, travel, and facilities required to design, fabricate, deliver and install two new exhibits; provide fiber optic capability of two proposed exhibits under P.O. DACW83-03-P-0018, increase the size of the proposed Kaneohe-Kailua Dam model f or the RVC. IE is the only source to accomplish this requirement as these additional items must be tailored to be compatible with the conceptual design, interpretive information, and the comprehensive overall artistic presentation flow of the new exhibits being produced by IE for the RVC under P.O. DACW83-03-P-0018. This notice and the sole source solicitation are being issued concurrently. The Government request that any interested contractor respond by 29 March 2004, 2:00 p.m. Hawaiian Standard Time.
