Description

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source HUBZone Procurement under NAICS code 114210 to Roberts Treescaping, 2520 Galena #2, Aurora Colorado. The Government intends to issue a sole source HUBZone contract for the removal of prairie dogs on Buckley AFB Colo. The vendor will need to have all Federal U.S. Fish and Wildlife and State of Colorado Division of Wildlife licenses and permits and operate IAW all Federal and State regulations to capture and remove prairie dogs to designated U.S. Fish and Wildlife Ferret Reintroduction Facilities located in Arizona and Colorado. The requirement is to remove prairie dogs from designated areas where new construction is to take place. As this requirement is on an as needed basis and not on an ongoing basis, there is no guarantee that any work will actually be awarded to the vendor. The 460th Contracting Squadron intends to award a contract by other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-5(b)(6) Authorized or required by statute. Sole Source awards under The HUBZone Act of 1997-U.S.C. 657a. and FAR 19.1306(a) This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
