- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command intends to modify contract N00019-04-C-6517, to develop, manufacture, integrate, test, and deliver the Cabin Part Task Trainer (CPTT) to support CV-22 Aircraft maintenance training requirements. Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office (JPO), 22398 James Rd. Patuxent River, MD 20670 will perform the effort. The Contractor will be responsible for the development, manufacture, integration, testing, and delivery of the Cabin Part Task Trainer (CPTT). The Trainer will be used to acquire and sustain the skills procedures, and techniques required to perform CV-22 flight and fuselage related tasks. The Bell-Boeing team is the designer, developer, and sole producer of the CV-22 tilt rotor aircraft and is currently performing the engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) and the low-rate initial-production (LRIP) of these aircraft. Bell-Boeing is the only source that possesses the engineering data; technical skills; and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, and operational characteristics of the CV-22 aircraft to design and build the CV-CPTT.See Note 22
