Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitation to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. This requirement is for MK 155 MOD 0 Fuze and Output Charge Assembly for Practice Diversionary Charge in accordance with Automated Data List (ADL) 53711-7294847 and associated drawings, 12255-OES-0063, Revision B, Quality Assurance Provision (QAP-N-04) and Supplementary Quality Assurance Provision (SQAP 402-004) to be provided with the solicitation package. The Government requires a quantity of 200 each First Articl es and 30,000 each (minimum) and 156,000 each (maximum) of MK 155 MOD 0 Fuze and Output Charge Assembly for Practice Diversionary Charge, over a 5-year ordering period. The First Article quantity is due 180 days after contract award. The production quantity is due 240 days after contract award at a quantity of 4,000 units each month, ramping up to 8,000 per month after 3 months or as order quantities increase significantly above the basic quantity. The Government will provide the Base for the Practice Diversionary Charge MK 155 MOD 0 as required. A safety survey will be required prior to award of the contract to ensure contractors comply with the requirements of DFAR 252.223-7002 and 252.223-7003. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database and the Joint Certification Program. This acquisition is Limited Competition Restricted to the National Technology Industrial Base in accordance with FAR 6.302-3. Inspection and acceptance shall be at source. Delivery is required F.O.B. Origin. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considering past performance and price related factors.
