Description
The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia is in the process of putting together a Request for Proposal (RFP) for support of the Garrison Support Units (GSUs) and CONUS Support Base (CSB) Units in the United States. This RF P will be set aside 100 percent for Small Business. The resultant contract(s) will be possible suite(s) of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Task Order (TO) driven, contracts covering personnel/operations/logistics support services for three separate regions of the US. Multiple suite is defined as a group of contracts awarded for specific regions that are geographically or task focused. The three separate regions will be Northern Region, Southern Region and Western Region. Each contract wi ll be for a Base Period of 12 months with four one-year options. The contracts will be structured for maximum flexibility in providing for an expedited ordering process in order to satisfy the needs of customers throughout the Generating Force. Contracto rs will provide support in thirteen task areas. These task areas are expected to be utilized in all three regions. The task areas will be Contract/Task Order Management; Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security; Manpower Management to include Human Res ources and Finance; Logistics to include Material Management and Supply, Services, Movements, Equipment Readiness and Maintenance, Billeting and Facilities and Information Management. Reserve Component (RC) soldiers initially resourced garrison staffs for mobilization and deployment purposes of forces during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and later Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). These soldiers are assigned to Garrison Support Unit (GSU) and other CONUS Support Base (CSB) organizations. They have been m obilized for some time and may or may not be available to support future mobilization, deployment, re-deployment and demobilization cycles. Due to severe time constraints there will be no Pre-Proposal Conference scheduled. All interested parties need to respond to the below stated point of contact by email concerning their interest in proposing on the resultant RFP no later than April 5, 2004. Be sure to include in your email your company??????s size, point of contact, telephone number, fax number and em ail address. Also, include in your email response an attachment providing information concerning your company capabilites to perform under the above stated task areas. Once the Request for Proposal is announced on ASFI you will be notified by email that it is available on the web site. The RFP will be issued o/a May 18, 2004, to include Performance Work Statement on ASFI.
