Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about April 15, 2004. TELEPHONE/EMAIL REQUETS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL INQUIRIES REGARDING THE SOLICITATION UNTIL IT HAS BEEN POSTED. Everglades National Park, Flamingo District, has a requirement for a vendor to provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision necessary to replace a single-ply membrane roofing and apply elastometric coating to the Restaurant and Visitor Center Roofs. The process shall effectively repair cracks, splits, crazing, chalking and any other defects in the existing roof membrane, up walls and roof penetrations as well as protect the membrane from further degradation and renew the weathered surface to extend the useful life of the roofs. Detailed specifications and drawings will be provided when the Request for Quotes is posted. Flamingo District is located 38 miles southwest of the main park entrance of Everglades National Park, Homestead, Florida. Range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This procurement is 100 percent set-aside for small businesses. NAICS Code 238390 Size Standard is $12,000,000.00. Vendor awarded the contract will be required to submit performance and payment bonds. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with National Park Service are required to register at the National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 2001-16 requires that all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to any award.
