Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Great Lakes Region has a requirement for the installation of an Exterior Insulation and Wall Finish System (EIFS) on the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT), Cuyahoga County Airport, 5375 Avon Park Drive, Cleveland, Ohio 44143. The work will be performed in strict accordance with the specifications drawings and contract provisions under the subject contract. Award of a firm-fixed-price contract is being contemplated to a responsible offeror who submits the responsive offer for this requirement. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, interested firms are invited to submit a written request via fax with your name, company name, address, and phone number to Dennis Shub, AIM, Inc. (847) 294-8050 or E:Mail: Dennis.ctr.Shub@faa.gov by close of business April 12, 2004. Estimated date of mailing is April 26, 2004. Estimated mandatory performance period is 45 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range is between $140,000.00 to $160,000.00 VERBAL REQUESTS for RFP WILL NOT BE HONORED. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS AND 8(a) SET ??? ASIDE ONLY. If your company is 8(a) certified submit a copy of the certification with your request. The following notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
