- NA PR Number(s): FD20200460024 Item: 0001 NSN: 1135-01-216-8499NP ELECTRONIC COMPONENT ASSY P/N: 47R529580G1, Description: This is a Central Power Conditioner which is part of the MK21 Re-entry Vehicle Arming & Fusing Assy. The CPC conditions all unregulated battery power for the AFA circuitry and all arming and firing signals. It consists of 3 multi-layer boards, 10 stud-mounted power transistors, 27 feed-through capacitors, 21 feed-through terminals, 2 GR terminals, 2 MDM connectors and 3 flexible cables. Entire assy is mounted to an alum base plate and covered with an alum housing which structurally supports the impact electronics, launch safety device and silver zinc battery. Total Line Item Qty: 67.0000 Destn: FB2029,HILL AFB,UT.,84056-5713. Delivery - ARO Months: 12, 67.00 Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. TO: LOCKHEED MARTIN CORP. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
