Description
The Defense Contracting Command-Washington intends to negotiate a Sole Source contract under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, with Breil Worldwide Management, 4600 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, on behalf of the Office of Administrat ive Assistant to the Secretary of the Army (OAA), Services and Operations Agency, Security and Safety Directorate, to provide technical and analytical support services to the HQDA (Pentagon & NCR) Safety and Occupational Health Office. The contractor is t o provide support in an effort to administer and manage a viable, effective program. The Contractor will perform the following tasks: a. Review and evaluate the OWCP rolls and records to ensure those listed are HQDA employees and their related compensation for those positions are correct. b. Develop and maintain accident/injury illness logs for supported agencies gathered from information on the accident reports. c. Manage the Collateral Duty Safety Officer (CDSO) Program. Provide technical advice and support to the CDSOs in preparation of accident reports, investigations, emergency evacuation plans, compliance with Army and Federal Regulations, and other pertinen t safety program matters. d. Design and develop outreach programs to facilitate open channels of communication between the SOH and other agencies supported by the SOH. e. Compile, research and develop data to enhance the communicative and logistical apparatus of departmental safety and training programs. f. Develop and maintain internal and external communicative support materials to enhance to function of the HQDA (Pentagon & NCR Safety and Occupational Health Program. g. Design, organize and conduct small training sessions with CDSOs and other employees requesting safety assistance. h. Develop and research pertinent safety information to be included on the HQDA Safety Web Page. i. Prepare IAQ studies, surveys and assessments from information submitted by the industrial Hygienist. j. Review accident reports for accuracy and prepare preliminary trend analysis based on information submitted on the accident reports. This announcement is in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(1).
