Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award on a sole source basis to SYMARK Software the acquisition of the PowerPassword product (by Symark)for the Treasury Department. This product will be used to track processes/jobs that run on Treasury's UNIX servers from a login point. PowerPassword will support fundamental security concepts for confidence, integrity and availability. PowerPassword supports these intrinsic values through monitoring actions of the systems most trusted users. The Government intends to acquire these services from Symark Software, 30301 Agoura Road, Suite 200, Agoura Hills, California 91301. No award will be made on the basis of of any quotations/proposals or other information received in response to this notice, since this is a notification of intent to acquire and not a request for quotation/proposals.
