Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, DSS Corporate Contracting Office, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Sun hardware supporting the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). This synopsis is restricted to authorized Sun Microsystems Government IFORCE Partners. All equipment and components must be new, not refurbished, with a Sun Three Year On-Site Warranty. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation DTICZ 04029001 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a competitive acquisition under NAICS 423430 and is restricted to 100% small business set-aside. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. All items shall be priced FOB-Destination, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Delivery shall be within 30 days after receipt of order. Offerors must propose all items. Partial quotes will not be accepted or evaluated. Each server shall contain the following: (CONFIG 1): 3 ea SUNFIRE V440 SERVER, 3 ea SUN XVR-100 GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR, 3 ea POWER CORD; (CONFIG 2): 3 ea SUNFIRE V440 SERVER, 3 ea SUN XVR-100 GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR, 3 ea POWER CORD; (CONFIG 3): 2 ea SUNFIRE V880 SERVER, 2 ea CRYPTO BOARD FOR SSL, 2 ea SUN XVR-100 GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR; 2 ea POWER CORD.
