Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for a supply type contract in support of Naval Ship Repair Facility, Sasebo Japan for forty-eight (48) gasketless nozzle change service kits (part #16611265), ninety-six (96) conversion injection pumps (part #16611118), five (5) gauge assembly height injection pumps(part #16205348), three (3) nut-nozzle adapter wrench service kits (part #16201094), and three (3) pintle nozzle adapter wrench service kits (part #16201093). To be negotiated on a sole source basis with the OEM of the engine component parts, Coltec Industries, Fairbanks Morse Engine Division. Required delivery date is 40 weeks after award. Partial deliveries are acceptable and encouraged. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 19 April 2004 with a closing date of 26 April 2004. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
