Description

This amendment to the combined synopsis/solicitation is to incorporate additional information into the description of the requirement to install cameras at Dover AFB. All cameras must be sealed for outdoor use. Only one camera is inside a building however, the building is a wash rack for vehicles and potentially the cameras can get wet. The next clarification is in regards to the amount of blacktop that must be removed and replaced to accomplish the installation. The shortest distance from the washrack to the adjacent building is 60 feet. The contractor will need to install wires under the blacktop and return it to its original condition. The contractor can expect to run approximately 100 feet of cable to each camera. This measurement is offered as a courteous but may or may not be all inclusive of the final amount. The contractor is expected to provide a working system with the proposal. Lastly, the contractor is expected to document all assumptions made in the proposal to arrive at the stated quote price. These assumptions will be used to validate the contractors bid.
