- Description
- The Indian Health Service intends to award one Sole Source Simplified Acquisition award to Mr. Pallop Chareonviititam. For a period of twelve months he shall perform duties required of a assistant to the Chief, Grants Management Officer (CGMO) Indian Health Service and four Grants Specialists. He will use his unique ability with the Indian Health Service Grants Electronic Management System (IGEMS)and the NIH mainframe to upload released grant funds to CORE(finance system). Check grant applications for completeness and budget accuracy. There will be work on all 23 Indian Health Service grant programs, 473 total grants and set up offical grant files. Assemble grant applications in the prescribed format for review. He will prepare grant awards, approval lists, and notifications to the Congressional Liaison Office for new grants. In the IGEMS,type grant terms and conditions letters for new continuation, supplemental or amended grant awards for Public Law 94-437, Public Law 93-639, as amended, or the PHS Act. Serve as primary person to upload all formatted files to CORE: follow up with CORE office to make sure all files in CORE system will perform for the Indian Health Service/Grants office in Rockville, Md. The authority for this sole source acquisition is FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2),Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Mr. Chareonvootitam has unique ability and special understanding of the Indian Health Service Grants Electronic Management System (IGEMS). He also possess the knowledge of the Indian Health Service grant structure which includes the twelve area offices. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms or individuals that believe they can provide the required services may identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the date of this synopsis. A determination not to compete this proposed action based on responsed to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
