- Description
- USAID has a need for a contractor to provide training rooms in a secure space. The contractor must be capable of providing up to 3 training rooms simultaneously, comfortably accommodating up to 40 people per room. The training rooms must be handicap accessible, have access to telephones, microwave, refrigerator, a message center, and allow limited food and beverages in the training room. The training facility must provide 2 computers with Internet connections. Each room must have the capability of being secured to allow the participants to leave their books and training material in the room for the duration of the training session. In addition, the training facility must provide access to a copier, and have access to power outlets at tables to accommodate laptops and other equipment. The Contractor is responsible for providing equipment extension cords at the request of the trainer. Each training room, when ordered by the CTO, must be available for the entire training period. Most training sessions will last 5-10 days; the training room must be accessible from 7am ? 6pm each training day, for setup, training, and removal of USAID training materials. USAID requires a 100% handicap accessible facility and training rooms must be located within a close proximity to USAID offices located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, and a metro stop. USAID expects to supply the majority of its training material and equipment, however USAID may order as optional items an overhead projector, microphone with podium, white board screen, blackboard, television with stand, VCR, DVD, and flip chart with paper. USAID will order training rooms by issuing a work order from the CTO. Work orders will state the number of rooms required, the training dates, and any optional equipment needed. The CTO will transmit the work order in no less than fourteen days from the commencement of the training course. Only the CTO is allowed to issue work orders to the contractor.
