Description

NOTICE OF INTENT. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Contracts Office intends to award on a Sole Source basis to Cascade Designs, Inc., Seattle, WA 98134-2301, to design, develop, and fabricate prototype model of man portable modular device Independent, Individual Water Carriage System (IIWCS). The IIWCS will provide the ability to filter and disinfect all water sources in the field. The intent of the government is to modify Cascade Designs, Inc.?s existing MIOX Corporation disinfection technologies proprietary model in order to develop IIWCS by combining it with the government's requirement which is the disinfection and filtration technologies. The Cascade Designs, Inc. is the only responsible source and has the Exclusive License Rights to manufacture the MIOX Corporation disinfection technologies and no other supplies or services that will meet the Government?s requirement. This will be awarded on a Firm Fixed Price using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. See Note 26.
