- Requirements type contract for dairy products for delivery to Fort Knox, Kentucky, during the period 1 July 2004 through 30 June 2005. Miscellaneous dairy, fluid milk and ice cream products for a total of 31 line items. Estimated annual quantities fo r the contract period are: 1,858 containers buttermilk, 100,212 pounds cottage cheese, 5,424 pints sour cream, 661 containers egg nogg, 12,568 containers ice milk mix, 192,610 half pints lowfat chocolate milk, 55,100 gallons lowfat chocolate milk, 2,150 co ntainers whole milk, 90,940 gallons lowfat milk, 309,481 half pint lowfat milk, 306,561 half pints skim milk, 1,680 gallons skim milk, 269,756 containers yogurt, 59,060 gallons 100% pure orange juice, 144 containers 16 oz sour cream and 12 line items for a ssorted ice cream novelty products. Contractor shall furnish products manufactured by firms approved and currently listed in the Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for Armed Forces Procurement. Contractor will deliver to approximately 25 different locations. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Anticipated issue date for the solicitation is around or on May 11, 2004, with an anticipated opening date around or on June 10, 2004. No paper copies of the solicit ation will be issued. The solicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox homepage website at http://www.knox.army.mil/garrison/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm around or on May 11, 2004. All amendments to the solicitation will likewise be posted to this web site. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Faxed and electronic bids will not be accepted.
