Description

The FDA intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order to the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets for the Collection of domestic pesticides/ and mycotoxin samples. New York State Inspectors will collect samples of foods produced/ grown in New York State for pesticide surveillance and for mycotoxin surveillance samples will be collected from areas throughout New York. This purchase will be done under FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures and FAR 6,302-1. The New York Department of Agriculture and Markets is the only source that can satisfy FDA?s requirements due to the fact that they have the regulatory authority that is necessary to gain access to establishments from which these samples will be collected. NO REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting FDA?s requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, which if received within the 15 calendar days of the date of the announcement will be considered. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
