- 1. CONTRACT INFORMATION: The Nashville District U. S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for fabrication and installation of: informational signage, interpretive signs and displays (to include the structures, bases, and foundations); for The Discovery Center and Murfree Spring Wetland, and Oaklands Park at Oaklands Mansion Museum in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The successful contractor will be issued a site plan, concept drawings and specifications to accomplish required work. The solicitation, RFP # W912P5-04-R-0015 will be a negotiated solicitation. NAICS code is 339950. This acquisition is being issued on a small business set-aside basis. For the purpose of determining size, a small business is one that has 500 or few er employees. 2. PROJECT INFORMATION: The work consists of all labor, supervision, materials, services, artwork and equipment required for the fabrication, finishing, delivery and installation of all signs and structures as indicated in the drawings and i nstructions included with the solicitation. Products and materials called for in the specifications include: aluminum (3003H14 or 60601 alloy), Plexiglas acrylic sheet, cast acrylic sheet, radiant acrylic sheeting, phenolic panels, structural steel, concr ete, and stonework. Processes include LuminOre???? metalizing process and application of acrylic, urethane, and epoxy coatings. 3. SUBMISSION INFORMATION: The solicitation will be competitively awarded based upon the evaluation criteria established in Sec tion M of the Request for Proposal.
