Description
The goal of this initiative is to contract for ACCESS to air certified medical equipment, specifically, Defibrillator/Monitor-Recorder System, Biphasic Wave Form with Reusable Container in an exigency situation. The following accessories will also be included in the resultant solicitation: batteries, cables, cuffs and hoses, sensors, probes and paper. The quantity of deliveries of the Defibrillator will be specified over a predetermined period of time but is estimated at 1,200 over 90 days. The Government will provide the time phased delivery requirements and contract for the logistics necessary to support this delivery schedule. The awardee will be responsible for maintaining the capability to meet time phased delivery requirements. The Government will contract for increased inventory and procurement holding costs, partial manufacturing fees, management fees and any other negotiated costs. The contract period will be a one year base plus four, one year option years. Any deliveries under this contract will be within the continental United States only (various continental US destinations to be determined in subsequent delivery orders). This is an Unrestricted Acquisition. See Numbered Note 9. Special Note: Documented proof of fixed and rotary wing Aero-medical Certification is required with your offer AT TIME OF CLOSING in order to be considered technically acceptable and eligible for award.
