Description

This project consists of maintaining approximately 217 miles of selected native surface and aggregate surface roads in the counties of Pennington, Custer, Meade, and Lawrence in South Dakota, and the county of Weston in Wyoming, on the Black Hills National Forest. Work includes slide and slump repair, ditch cleaning, surface smoothing, surface reshaping, surface repair, drainage structure cleaning and minor maintenance, cattleguard and gate maintenance, incidental surface aggregate replacement, and providing road maintenance signing. Contract time is 120 days, approximately April 15 – July 15, 2004, and approximately September 15 – October 15, 2004. All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which will be considered. See Note #1. A pre-bid meeting will be held on March 11, 2004. It is anticipated the solicitation package will be issued on February 17, 2004. This is an electronic solicitation only.
