Description

The Wiesbaden Contracting Center intends to competitively solicit (SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS) the purchase, transportation, construction and installation to accomplish a turn-key serviceof Medical/Dental Modular Units at LSA Anaconda Comba t Support Hospital, Balad, Iraq. This procurement will be accomplished in accordance with FAR 14.5, Two-Step Sealed Bidding Procedures. Offerors will be required to submit a technical proposal that will be evaluated in accordance with the Request for Prop osals. This project will entail civil, mechanical, electrical and sanitary construction. Magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000. The project includes functional areas for the following medical support services: surgery, inpatient wards, emergency/t rauma, diagnostics including: CAT scan and magnetic resonance imaging, pathology laboratory, pharmacy and central material service and dental clinics. Release of the Request for Proposals will be on or about 19 May 2004.
