Description
The National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB) is seeking a contractor to develop recommendations for a framework and specifications for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) in the area of science. Specifically, the requirement is to develop recommendations for the review, modification, and/or adoption by NAGB, of a framework and specifications for the NAEP Science Assessment, scheduled to take place in 2009. The NAEP Science Assessment is scheduled to be administered at the national level in grades 4, 8, and 12 and at the state level in grades 4 and 8. The period of performance will be 15 months. All requests for the RFP shall reference the RFP number ED-04-R-0022. The anticipated release date of this RFP is on or about June 7, 2004 and the closing date is July 30, 2004. The RFP can be retrieved using any of the following methods: The Statement of Work will appear on the NAGB website, http://www.nagb.org on or after June 7, 2004. Written requests should be sent to the address shown above as Contracting Office Address, attention Stephen Swearingen. In response to telephone, fax, or written requests, RFP's will be mailed by regular U.S. Postal Service mail on or after June 7, 2004. Copies may be picked up at the Contracting Office Address on or after the release date.
