- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish the necessary qualified personnel, facilities, materials, supplies, and equipment. The objective of this requirement is to determine, on a quick turn-around basis, the effect of countermeasure programs at the state and local level that focus on traffic safety problem areas such as injury prevention, occupant protection, law enforcement, unsafe driving behaviors, and technology applications to traffic safety. These evaluations and research will rely on available data;focus on measures of driver performance (such as observed driving behaviors, injury and crash data, or occupant protection use), or collection information on problems of countermeasure implementation and operations, public and official reactions, equipment reliability, and other practical issues. Task Orders will be issued specifying the exact requirements of the tasks. This is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 541720. The size standard is $6 Million. The period of performance is for a base contract period of three (3) years with options for two (2) additional one-year option periods. The Government reserves the right to make Multiple Awards. The Government contemplates awarding one or more Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity task order type contracts in three programmatic areas: (1) Lot A ? field data collection, (2) Lot B ? crash and injury statistical analysis and (3) Lot C ? program evaluation. The RFP and any other associated documents will reside on the FedBizOpps website at www.FedBizOpps.Gov or the GSA Electronic Posting Service (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Requests for paper copies of the RFP will not be accepted. Estimated date for release of the solicitation is on or about May 26, 2004.
