Description

The Philadelphia VA Medical Center is seeking qualified Architect Engineering firm for the services of developing construction specifications and drawings for the renovation of the 7th floor of building one at this facility. The design shall include the complete demolition of approximately 18,000 sq. ft., removal of asbestos containing insulation and lead paint. The work shall include the complete renovation and construction of a Behavioral Health ward consisting of 36 beds in private and semi private rooms with toilets and showers. Other rooms will include new nurse?s station, exam rooms, public and staff toilets, reception areas, offices and work spaces. Construction will consist of new HVAC systems, new electrical and plumbing systems, etc. All space must meet the Department of Veterans Affairs space criteria. Estimated construction cost is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. All interested vendors should submit their 254 and 255?s along with any other pertinent information deemed necessary. Responses will be due no later than June 11, 2004.
