NOUN:Convergent Nozzle Seal Liner; NSN:2840-01-308-4469NZ; P/N: 4078304; QTY: Range quantity from 1511-4431. U/I: Each; DELIVERY: DEC2004 to Tinker AFB, OK; APPLICABLE TO: F100PW229 engine; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: about 15 inches long X 4.5 inches Wide X 0.5 inches high; PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: Haynes 230; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Protects the convergent seal assemblies from high exhaust gas temperatures. Anticipated Solicitation issue date: 1JUN04. Anticipated award date: 31AUG04. It is not anticipated that a paper solicitation will be issued. The solicitation will be electronically posted. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. Qualification Requirements have been completed. The solicitation will provide further information for qualification or go to www-ext.tinker.af.mil/bc. Government Furnished drawings are available but will not be provided with the solicitation. TO: Pratt and Whitney, East Hartford, CT. TO: Dynamic Gunver Technologies, Manchester, CT. NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate In the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
