Description

The Wiesbaden Contracting Center intends to issue a solicitation for repair and reconstitution of tactical military vehicles and equipment (i.e., wheeled and tracked tactical vehicles and trailers) in Europe. The requirement may include picking up o r receiving equipment, inspections, estimated costs of repair, determination of repair efforts, repair and maintenance, final inspection, and transportation to final destinations (within Europe). Repair source should be able to furnish the facilities, cap acity, equipment, materials, skilled personnel, and a verifiable quality control program. The Government??????s requirements include the capability to receive, repair, perform CARC painting, track and report, and return equipment to the Government. All f irms responding to this notice and meeting all conditions of this notice will receive a Request for Proposal (RFP). NOTE: If a response was submitted to the Sources Sought Notice issued for this effort, Market Research Number W912CM-04-MR001, you are alr eady included on the mailing list and need not respond to this notice. The solicitation will be available online at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will convey complete e valuation criteria. The anticipated contract type is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) service contract. Tentative date for issuance of the RFP is 08 June 2004. Tentative date for receipt of proposals is 09 July 2004. Tentative contract award date is 23 July 2004.
