Description

The Department of Homeland Security, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement intends to award a follow-on, sole-source contract to American Eurocopter for the manufacture of four replacement AS350B3 helicopters. This acquisition will provide the four additional standardized helicopters to meet the replacement number approved in the current Modernization Plan for the Division of Air and Marine Operations. The Modernization Plan was authorized by Congress and approved by the US Customs Commissioner. Due to the standardization of the helicopters, American Eurocopter is the only source capable of meeting the Government?s requirement.
