Description

Pursuant to the authority cited in FAR Part 6.302-1(a) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) the Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source purchase with ERBE USA, Inc. for the following equipment to be located at the Northern California Health Care System facility, 10535 Hospital Way, Sacramento, CA 95655 (VISN 21): One (1) ERBE APC2 Argon Plasma Coagulator with three standard APC modes, and six argon-assisted modes and one (1) ERBE VIO 300 D Electrosurgical Generator with four (4) standard cutting modes and automatic dosing of power (Effect, PPS, Highcut & Drycut) with Autocoag Monopolar Coagulation and related accessories. The Government has determined that this is the only responsible source and no other equipment will satisfy agency requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations and no solicitation package will be made available. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone or e-mail inquires will be accepted.
