Description

The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB AL, intends to award on a sole source basis, for instructor to participate in the teaching of course curriculum for the Air War College (AWC) resident program, specifically International Security Studies (ISS), the academics and field research involved in the Regional Studies program and an elective on globalization. Course preparation, classroom execution, grading of examinations, the reading of papers and provision of student feedback are required. The contractor must be prepared to: deliver lectures, conduct seminars and participate in panel discussions related to the curriculum; serve as advisor to students doing research in the curricular subjects assigned to him; serve as seminar leader/facilitator, serve as a faculty member on the culminating AWC war game. Performance period is 6 Oct 2004 to 20 May 2005. The contractor is required to have a Ph.D. in political science, with a speciality in international security. The Government proposes to award a firm-fixed priced purchase order to Dr. Amit Gupta, Montgomery AL, no later than 20 May 2004. No request for proposal will be issued.
