Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F5X45241030100. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 5088. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423860 and the size standard is 500 employees.Place of delivery and acceptance is Edwards AFB, CA with F.O.B. Destination.The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for the following : CLIN 0001, QTY(1) 2004 manufactured, FMC, Model B1200 for the 412 MOS group. The tow tractor shall include all of the following: machine, welding, corrosion control, composites, and sheet metal. Preventive maintenance will include inspection and repair of machine electrical systems. The contractor shall provide all labor, powered by a Deutz BF6M1013ECP diesel engine, ZF 4WG 200 4-speed Powershift transmission. Four-wheel drive, Four-wheel electronic steer control (2-wheel track, 4-wheel coordinated, and crab). Unit to be weighted @ 110,000 pounds, and rated @ 75,000 pound DBP. Unit to be equipped with the following Optional Features: Front elevating cab w/ front wipers, interior light, exhaust fan, outside mirrors, heater and defroster. Flashing Amber beacon. Work lights - Front and Rear coupler. Intercom jacks and cable system. Standard couplers, Rear Ground Power Unit Support Platform New Hobart, Model 60CU24F, 60 KVA, GPU, powered by Cummins diesel engine, mounted on rear support platform. 50' AC power output cable assembly.
