NSN: 1615-00-859-6111; P/N: 204-010-720-3, PRON AX 4J0091AX, NOUN: Slider, Tail Rotor; Quantity: 326 each , applicable to BA: UH-1. Production leadtime with First Article (FA) is 66 each 372 days after contract award; without FA is 248 days and 310 days when Alternate II clause is applicable with delivery to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000, East Rockaway, NY 11518-1235, Secaucus, NJ 07094-1617, Cateret, NJ 07008-1005, and Jamaica, NY 11434-5418. This item is restricted to BELL HELICOPTER TEXTRON INC, Cage Code 97499, and MCGINTY MACHINE CO INC, Cage Code 24543, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and the manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the require d item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviat ion Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation however; the solicitation wi ll not close prior to the date stated above.
