- Description
- The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) is seeking a vendor(s) to provide investigator services for EEO complaints. Investigating services are required on all DFAS EEO complaints agency-wide. It is the policy of the DFAS, a federal agency, to provide equal employment opportunity for its employees, former employees, as well as applicants for employment with DFAS. The DFAS agency-wide Investigator Services contract is for a period of five years (base year and four one year options) for all 26 locations: Arlington, VA; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Charleston, SC; Denver, CO; Indianapolis, IN; Kansas City, KS; Norfolk, VA; Oakland, CA; Pensacola, FL; San Diego, CA; Dayton, OH; Limestone, Maine; Omaha, NE; San Bernardino, CA; Honolulu, HI; DFAS, Japan; DFAS, Europe; Lexington, KY; Lawton, OK; Rome, NY; Seaside, CA; St Louis, MO; Rock Island, IL; and Orlando, FL. The EEO Investigator must have successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in Human Resources or related field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, have course work in the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) field with one year of full-time undergraduate study (defined as 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours) in the EEO field. The investigator will have 3 years of progressively responsible experience in the Equal Employment Opportunity field, that demonstrates the ability to: 1) analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Plan and organize work; and 3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing. DFAS is seeking one vendor who has qualified EEO investigators at all continental US (CONUS) sites in order to minimize travel and per diem expenses. If a competitive number of vendors do not meet this criteria, then DFAS is examine responses to determine is a competitive number of vendors have qualified EEO investigators in, at a minimum, the major DFAS sites of Arlington, Cleveland, Columbus, Denver and Indianapolis. Please identify in your responses the DFAS locations in which you can provide EEO investigators for which no travel/per diem costs will be required.
