Description
DESC: TACOM-Rock Island is seeking Small Businesses willing to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) (FAR 13.303) for a period of three (3) years, involving items in the 1240 Federal Supply Class. A sample is the Eyepiece Assembly, Optical In strument: Used on the M60A3 TTS Tank, NSN: 1240-01-147-2030. Focusing Type: Adjustable. Diopter Scale: Included. Lens Arrangement: D2 Plano-Convex and D1 Double Convex. E1 Doublet. Accessory components and quantity spacer 1; Ring assembly 1; Barrel 1; Moun t 1; Retainer 1; Ring 1; Bellows Assembly 1; Tube 1. FOB Destination. For use on: the M60A3 TTS Tank. Requirements are not known at this time and may vary considerably. There will be no formal solicitation for this requirement. In establishing this BPA the Government will consider new suppliers whose past performance has shown them to be dependable, who offer quality supplies or services at consistently lower prices, and who have provided numerous purchases at below the simplifie d threshold. After establishment of these BPA’s the Government will continue to monitor the contractor’s performance. Sources that BPA’s, have been established with will be given equal opportunity to quote for supplies offered under the BPA. If First Article Test (FAT) is required, contractors will be asked to price the FAT separately. The quantities will be very small and sporadic. Vendors potential sources that would like to be considered for their BPA’s, must provide in their stateme nt of capabilities: (1) History of other similar parts made; (2) Statement that you are a Small Business, identify if designated as a 8(A) or Hub Zone entities (3) This notice is for information and planning purposes and the Government reserves the right t o set aside any and all procurements that may result hereunder for Small or Minority owned businesses. Your response indicating interest in these BPA’s, along with required statements discussed above are due to the contracting office Major Michelle Sanner, FAX (309) 782-0717 by 3 June 2004.
