- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Construction of a New Lake Road Boat Ramp at Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge in Lacombe, LA. Work includes, but is not limited to; supplying of all materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to construct a boat ramp using field poured concrete, precast concrete slab placement and bank stabilization methods in accordance with the drawings and specifications. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 237990. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 05/25/04, with a 06/25/04 closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 75 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 07/06/04. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ Number 401814Q098. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Registration with the Fish and Wildlife Service for Electronic Commerce (EC) at the National Business Center (NBC) Web site will also be required. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505.
