Description
DESC: MODULAR BUILDING RELOCATION. The Colville National Forest requires moving two modular buildings to the Three Rivers Ranger District compound. The project is located in Stevens and Ferry Counties, Washington State. There will be two bid items on this solicitation. CLIN Item 1, Colville Modular Building, number 2017. This building will be moved from Colville Washington, to Kettle Falls, Washington. The building consists of 1,440 square feet. CLIN Item 2, Republic Modular Building, number 2018. This building will be moved from Republic, Washington to Kettle Falls, Washington. The building consists of 1,008 square feet. This item is an option item. Both buildings are 1990s vintage modular office buildings. Both buildings currently have temporary wood foundations and both buildings will be installed on temporary wood foundations. The project will include connecting the buildings to water, sewer, power and telecom as shown in the solicitation. The Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), labor, supervision, workman?s compensation, unemployment insurance, transportation, and incidentals to perform all work necessary to accomplish the trail reconstruction. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about June 7, 2004. Quotes are estimated to be due June 22, 2004. Estimated start work date for CLIN Item 1 is on or about July 12, 2004. All work for item 1 shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Depending on funding the Government may exercise the option for CLIN Item 2 this fiscal year or next. The estimated start work date for this item is April 15, 2005, and all work for this item shall be completed with 60 calendar days from the notice to proceed. An Alternate Payment Protection (payment bond) will be required upon award. The project will be procured on an unrestricted basis. NAICS code is 236220. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
