Description

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services and supervision for Project No. VDYD 00-0089, Upgrade Electrical Base Utilities Infrastructure Phase I at Scott AFB IL. The work required for this project consists of converting the overhead transmission lines to an underground power distribution system for Substation #2 and also for the east and west feeders to the hospital. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210. This acquisition is being considered for a HUB Zone set-aside. If your firm is HUB Zone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, you must provide the following information to the contracting officer, in writing, no later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (a) SBA certification of HUB Zone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor: (c) evidence of recent (within past 3 years) and relevant experience (work similar in type and scope) to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with telephone numbers; and (d) evidence of bonding capability for this project. Otherwise the solicitation will be issued unrestricted pursuant to the small business competitiveness demonstration program. Mail or fax copies are preferred.
