Description
The NETCOM/9th Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Red River Army Depot/Lonestar Army Amunition Plant, Texarkana, TX. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year opt ions. The local exchange services provider, certified by the state of Texas, shall provide local commercial communications service for Red River Army Depot/Lonestar Army Amunition Plant, Texarkana, TX, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to , local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Source s responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees ???? ?? NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 21 May 2004. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 02 June 2004 at conference room Bldg 184, Red River Army Depot, Texarkana TX. It is recommended that prospective offerors attend this confere nce. The conference will be from 9:00 ?????? 10:00 AM (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:00 ?????? 11:00 AM. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the specialist listed below, in writing, of all attendees?????? nam es (not to exceed three per company) prior to 27 May 2004. Security information and directions will be provided at that time. An e-mail response to the specialist listed below is acceptable. Questions prior to the conference must be received before 27 M ay 2004. Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be received by 7 June 2004. Written responses to offeror-generated questions will be provided to all Offerors.
