Description
Design/Build of a new 200 member Army Reserve Center (ARC), Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS), and Unheated Storage Facility (UHS); Leavenworth County, Kansas. The buildings will be permanent construction with reinforced concrete foundations, co ncrete floor slabs, structural steel frames, masonry exterior walls (for the ARC), standing seam metal roofing or EDPM single ply membrane roofing, mechanical systems including air conditioning and electrical systems. Supporting facilities include site pr eparation, paving, fencing, and extension of utilities to serve the project. Furniture will be purchased by other contract. This solicitation also contains option items. These items are: 1)Military Equipment Parking (MEP); 2)Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS); 3)Washrack; 4)Unheated Storage Building (UHS); and 4) Overstory Trees. This solicitation isa Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated for best value to the Government in accordance with the following criteria listed in descending order of importance: Experience of the Prime Contractor, Design Contractor, and Subcontractor(s); Technical Approach; Past Performance; and Price. All evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when combine d, are equal to cost or price. The estimated price range is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 07 June 2004 and Proposal Due Date is 21 July 2004 at 4:30 PM Louisville Local Time. this project is available on CD and web only. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are: 486-based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space and compact disk drive.
