Description
NAICS Code: 421440 NAICS Code: 421440. United States EPA, has a need for Decontamination Shelter System. Since the 9/11, terrorist attacks, the EPA has a need to respond rapidly to terrorist events at different locations throughout the nation with state of the art technologies. This system will supply a facility necessary to provide decontamination procedures for the protection of responders, the public and the environment. It is the government's intent to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) in accordance with FAR Parts 6, 12, 13, and 15, as appropriate. Request for Quote RFQ-DC-04-00184, WILL BE RELEASED ON OR ABOUT MAY 24, 2004. Be advised that there may be multiple ship to or delivery destinations. For example, the destinations could be one or all of the following: Boston, MA; New York, NY; Phil. Pa; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Kansas City, KS; Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Edison, NJ; or Las Vegas, NV. Offerors shall submit a complete price list of items and accessories related to the stated requirements for review. The submission of the price list does not obligate the government to purchase items from the vendor. The purpose of the FedBizops announcement is to (1) notify potential offerors of EPA's requirement; (2) to give potential offerors an opportunity to submit a response within the specified time frame;(3) to direct parties to the EPA's "Doing Business with EPA" website @ http://www.epa.gov/oam for further information and updates. DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING A QUOTE IS JUNE 4, 2004, 4:00 PM, EST. Offerors shall submit two (2) copies of the quote in writing to: Delivery via Postal Service: U.S. EPA, Attn: Carolyn Rossmann (3805R), 1200 Pennsylvania Ave.NW, Washington, DC 20460, or Delivery via Courier & Express Service: U.S. EPA, Attn: Carolyn Rossmann (3805R) 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20004.
