Description

Purchase of .45 caliber, 230 grain, full metal jacket (FMJ) ammunition; (Estimated 60 cases yearly). Ammunition is to be purchased for the United States Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU), Ft. Benning GA, Solicitation Number W911SF-04-R-0003. Solicitat ion sets will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry Website (http://acquisition.army.mil) and the Fort Benning Website (http://www.benning.army.mil/doc/Solicitations.htm) on or about 1 Mar 04. Contract Specialist, Edson Harringto n (706) 545-2251, Contracting Officer Robert Battle, (706)-545-0357. Ammunition bid samples of 100 rounds are required with each offer and ammunition not meeting accuracy standards will be rejected. A copy of the accuracy standards may be obtained with th e solicitation. This is a requirements contract and ammunition is to be supplied on “an as-ordered” basis during the period 1 Apr 04 – 31 Mar 05 with two One-year Options. This is a sole-source requirement; intended source: Federal Cartrid ge Company, 900 Ehlen Drive, Anonka, MN 55303. This requirement is unrestricted with FOB destination, Fort Benning, GA 31905. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (02-FEB-2004).
