Description

The operation of the Shreveport Job Corps Center located in Shreveport, Louisiana will be available on Job Corps' website: http://www.wdsc.doleta.gov/jobcorps/. The current Government Authorized Representative for this contract is Ms. Barbara Porter. It is anticipated that the resultant contract wil be a cost plus incentive fee for a 2 year base period of September 1, 2004 through August 31, 2006 plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 250 residential students and 100 non-residential students; 155 males and 195 females. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2004 at the Shreveport JCC, 2815 Lillian Street, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71109. There will be a tour of the facility following the conference. Upon entering the facility, participants must report to the auditorium. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to this RFP will consist of Oral Presentations and written submission as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 1:00 p.m. local time Wednesday, March 3, 2004 to the Dallas Regional Office. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
