Description
The 21st Contracting Squadron, Base Support Flight, Peterson Air Force Base (AFB), CO, 80914, issues this presolicitation for rental of a ski resort. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 531120 with an associated size standard of $5,000,000. Based on the need for a Colorado Ski Resort to provide services for Military Ski Days which is a three-day sponsored event held annually for members of the military community, which include active duty, retired, reservists, and civilian employees and their families from AF Space Command, Peterson AFB, Cheyenne Mountin AS, FE Warren AFB, Buckley AFB, Schriever AFB, USAF Academy, and FT Carson the governments intends to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the following services at a ski resort. (1) Facilities to host races (NASTAR, cardboard derby, fun runs), parties, dances & youth games for approximately 1200 people; (2) Sking/snowboarding, cross-country skiing trails; (3) Childcare; (4) designated parking and loading zones; (5) Mountain and Off mountain activities (ice skating, sleigh rides, snowmobile); (6) Phone & faxes; (7) advanced planning & on site meeting; (8) Discount on lodging, lift tickets, lessons, rentals, food, and child care; (9) Minimal drivingfrom base range. In addition only ski resorts with in a 150-mile radius from Colorado Springs, CO., will be considered for evaluation and award. the period of performance will be (1) year with a potential for (5) additional years. This is not a formal solicitation. The government intends to further define requirements through insurance of a solicitation upon receipt of information from potential offerors.
