- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation contractor for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation, number FA5613-04-Q-2003. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-22 and 23. This acquisition is unrestricted. This office intends to award a Firm Fixed Price for the purchase/ installation, engineer, furnish, install, test (EFI&T) a recorder system at Beuchel (Germany) site, Vokel and Kleine Brogel (Netherlands) sites. The proposal shall consist of a digital recording device at each location to interface to the existing digital (Avaya telephone switch) telephones. The systems shall be contractor installed an maintained; maintenance coverage is required for a period of 5 years. The systems shall be government operated. The contractor shall provide user hands-on training during the installation of the equipment. Each site requires a stand-alone recording device to be located in a secure munitions site command center. The requirement for each site is to be able to record 5 digital telephones (Avaya, 6416 and 6424 units), 2 analog telephone lines and two changes for radio. Each site requires audio beep tone alerting the caller of recording. Each facility requires a response time of 48 hours from an outage report. Call center (over the phone) Emergency Technical Assistance Service is acceptable for initial outage assistance. If unable to correct outages over the telephone, each site requires a technician to respond within the 48-hour period. Each site will provide frequencies to be recorded; a government representative will be available during installation to provide telephone equipment interface information and access to the installation.
